Electrocontrol

Electrocontrol was founded on March 25, 2002, as an independent electrical inspection company headquartered in Bern. The company’s original purpose remains the core business of our organization, which now employs over 50 people throughout Switzerland: the professional execution of legally required electrical installation inspections, specifically by inspecting electrical installations periodically or upon completion. As experts, we have continued to expand our range of services over the years. Today, analyses, measurements, expert assessments, and training programs form an important foundation that enables us to be recognized throughout Switzerland as experts in the safe handling of electricity and as the undisputed market leader in our field.

Our clients include private customers, electrical installation companies, HVAC installers, property management firms, corporate groups, and industrial companies of all sizes. Since April 3, 2023, we have been part of the Normec Group a Dutch-based group of companies with core competencies in testing, inspection, certification, and conformity assessments. Thanks to this partnership, we offer our clients a broad range of services supported by a diverse team of experts.

Electrocontrol has been granted the highest possible accreditation for the inspection of special installations by the Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS). Within the framework of the liberalized inspection system, accredited inspection bodies fulfill an important role. Only they are authorized to inspect electrical installations with a particular risk potential. SIS 0094 accreditation, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 21001, and ISO 45001 certification, combined with our employees’ many years of experience, guarantee a high standard of quality for all our services.
