For material and ladder lifts, Normec performs both initial commissioning and periodic quarterly inspections. This ensures the system remains safe to use.

We assess, among other things, the safety features, the general condition of the installation, its stability and setup, and, in the case of material hoists, the attachment to a building or scaffold. What is inspected always depends on the situation on site.

Yes, it is mandatory once.

Please have the user manual, any load charts, and the CE certificate available. For an initial inspection by Normec, we also request the previous inspection report.

Make sure the system is fully assembled, clean, and safely accessible. In addition, a qualified operator must be present during the inspection.
