During the Sports Facilities Trade Show on March 9, Roderik Span, Area Sales Manager at Normec Rei-lux, will discuss the key considerations when installing LED lighting on existing sports field light poles. This presentation will explain why conventional lighting cannot simply be replaced with LED lighting on sports fields. The presentation will take place in Lecture Hall A from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Join us at the Sports Facilities Trade Fair

On March 9, we’ll be at the trade show all day. You’ll find us in Hall 2 at Booth 2.1.10. We’d love to talk with you about measuring your sports light poles in connection with replacing existing fixtures with energy-efficient LED fixtures. Sports clubs will still be eligible for government subsidies in 2023. We’d be happy to discuss the options with you over a cup of coffee and a fresh Bossche bol.

Making Sports Facilities More Sustainable

Making sports facilities more sustainable has been a top priority for some time now. Sustainable investments in energy efficiency, circularity, or climate adaptation are therefore being encouraged in various ways. Examples include purchasing heat pumps, installing solar panels, or, of course, switching to LED sports field lighting. Over the past few weeks, we have observed that a great deal of confusion and uncertainty has arisen regarding the safety of sports field light poles.
